2022 GMC Yukon: A Colossus That Exceeds Expectations!

Recently ranked at the top of the best full-size SUVs of 2022 by the Car Guide, the GMC Yukon once again sets the bar high in its category. Few SUVs of this size can boast of offering driving pleasure, a spacious and techno-savvy interior, and even a more ecological option!

Sept-Îles Chevrolet Buick GMC, your dealership on the Côte-Nord, introduces the 2022 Yukon. Choose from our new vehicle models or our used cars for sale in Sept-Îles: a vast inventory awaits you!

A Massive and Practical SUV

The GMC Yukon had a makeover in 2021, and as such, it keeps the same redesigned exterior, with its square and modern shapes. The Yukon and Yukon XL are still available, with the latter offering an extra 50 cm in length for much more space. Depending on the version and the configuration chosen, it can accommodate 7 to 9 people!

New version since 2021, the AT4 is also back for off-road enthusiasts! The driving management system allows the vehicle to be adapted to steep trails. In addition, it is equipped with 20-inch off-road tires and protective plates. Its air suspension allows it to be lifted 10 cm to better face difficult road conditions!

The entry-level SLE and SLT versions are also available, offering two- or four-wheel drive. The Denali, the ultimate luxury version, is equipped with both standard all-wheel drive and a more powerful engine.

This version culminates with a 6.2 L V8 engine that produces an impressive 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. As for the previous versions, their 5.3 L V8 is also very generous with its 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. As an option, you can also choose a more fuel-efficient engine, a 3.0 L Duramax turbodiesel.

While the four-wheel drive versions of the first two engines average 13.5 and 14.8 L/100 km respectively, the diesel engine gets a combined 10.5 L/100 km. It produces a generous 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, just as much as the more powerful V8.

In all cases, the 2022 GMC Yukon impresses with its precision and driving comfort, thanks in part to its four-wheel independent suspension and efficient 10-speed automatic transmission.

One of the reasons for choosing the GMC Yukon is its generous space, whether for passengers or for the equipment or luggage you’re carrying. The Yukon XL in particular boosts the trunk volume to 1,175 L, while the cargo volume behind the first row goes up to 4,097 L!

Let’s talk about the Yukon’s interior: its refined design is particularly remarkable in the AT4 and the Denali. The former sports a jet black interior with brandy trim and adds ventilation to the standard heated front seats. Of course, second row passengers can enjoy heated seats as well!

The Denali, meanwhile, includes exclusive premium leather and real wood trim and four different colours, depending on your taste, for an exceptional sense of luxury.

All versions include a 10.2-inch touchscreen with integrated Google; optionally, you can add two 12.6-inch touchscreens for your rear passengers!
